Old town of Bamberg

Closest international airport is the Albrecht Dürer airport Nürnberg (NUE). NUE has more than 65.000 flights per year and direct connections to major European cities, per example Amsterdam, London, Paris, Madrid, Rome and Vienna. Regular bus shuttles between the International airport Nürnberg (NUE) and the venue will be organized before and after the conference. A single ride takes approximately 50 minutes. Alternatively, use the U2 to Nürnberg main station and then the train to Bamberg.

Bamberg can be reached by train (InterCity Express) from Nürnberg main station in about 40 mins or from the North (Leipzig) in about 80 mins. The hotel is a 2 km walk (about 25 min) from Bamberg train station.
